Accessibility
Made for everyone who makes things.
Accessibility is part of the design system, not a separate version.
What we do
- Every page works with a keyboard, with a visible focus ring that meets 3:1 contrast in both themes.
- Text meets 4.5:1 contrast on its background in light and dark.
- Status never relies on color alone: there's always a word or an icon.
- Every icon has a word beside it or a name a screen reader can say.
- Motion stops when your device asks for reduced motion. Moving parts that loop have a pause button.
- Nothing important hides behind hover or drag alone.
Where we fall short
The board editor's direct manipulation (dragging shapes on a canvas) is hard to make fully keyboard-accessible, and we're still working on it. If something blocks you, please tell us; it'll be treated as a bug.
