Is Jefield really free?
Yes. Everything this site calls live is free, with no card and no time limit.
Will what's free today stay free?
Yes. Paid plans will be for things that cost real money to run for you: lots of synced storage, AI in the app and spaces for teams.
Why 5 GB, and what if I go over?
5 GB of synced storage costs us cents a month, so it's free for good. Everything on your device is unlimited either way. A file that doesn't fit stays on the device you added it on and opens there, names and edits keep travelling, and Settings shows how much is used. Files over 250 MB stay on the device they were added on. Nothing you keep is ever deleted to make room.
When can I pay for more?
Not yet: nothing is for sale. When a paid plan opens, its price, what it adds and how to cancel will be here before anyone can pay.
Why is it free?
Your files live on your device and the heavy tools run on your device, so we don't pay for every edit or every gigabyte the way cloud-first tools do.
Do I need an account?
To work, yes: making, keeping and editing things needs you signed in with Google, so your work is yours on every device you sign in on. Looking around needs no account: the templates, the community, the website, and a project someone shares with you to look at.
Who owns what I make?
You do. Jefield keeps your files as you made them and never trains anything on them.
