Every version kept. Even the ugly ones.
Why Jefield never overwrites anything, and why going back is a new version too.
Every creative person has a folder full of final_v7_REAL_final. It exists because tools overwrite. You save, and what was there is gone, so you protect yourself with file names.
Jefield doesn't overwrite. Ever.
How it works
When you bring a file in, it's kept exactly as it came: not renamed, not recompressed, not a byte changed. When you change it in one of the editors and save, you get version 2, and version 1 stays where it was. Every file has a Versions list: what made each one, when, and a way to download it or go back to it. Going back is also a new version, so even your undo has a history.
Why it matters
Things get made quickly now. That's exactly when you need a memory you can trust: you should be able to see what changed and take it back without thinking twice.
Read the guide to try it.
